Specifications:
Mezzanines are 'KD', bolt assembly, with no field welding required. Designed for 125 psf, L/360 deflection, (per all major building codes). All hardware necessary for completion is provided. Stairs are 45" wide with a clear walk area of 36" between handrails. All stair treads are full modesty type, diamond plate non-skid steel, shipped 'KD' for site assembly. Landings are full stair width by nominal 60" clear length. Landing is fully fabricated, with diamond plate deck. All railing, handrails, and gates are 1 1/2" steel pipe. All steel shall be painted with a gray prime coat finish. National's steel products are manufactured to meet BOCA, OSHA, SBC & UBC codes. Flooring is ¾" T&G plywood over 22 ga. roof deck. All standard sizes are 9'2" top of deck to allow for minimum 7'-11" under clearance. Mezzanines meet Seismic Zone 4 requirements.

National's mezzanine design can be engineered for uniform loads up to 250lbs. per square foot, concentrated loads of 2000lbs., and large clear spans of up to 200' x 200', using tubular joists.
National's standard mezzanine design is for a minimum of 125lbs per square foot at L/360 deflection.
Flooring options include: 1/2" plywood or 3/4" T&G over 18-22 gauge decking, bar grating, diamond plate, concrete and others.
